Environmental & sustainability Policy

This policy sets our Grace & Skye intention to always strive to be environmentally sustainable and minimise the impact of our business activities on the environment.

We understand the impact of food and drink catering has on the environment, we review our measures and practices to reduce waste, use less plastics and be as sustainable as possible.

Our commitment:

  • We choose local seasonal food from suppliers as local to our kitchen as possible, reducing the miles food is required to travel

  • We always choose local small growers and producers where possible

  • We choose suppliers who have similar sustainable ethos as us

Food;

  • All waste kitchen oil is recycled

  • We use recipes that use the whole food to reduce our waste

  • We cook to order which reduces the food waste

  • We choose plastic free wrapping were possible

  • We offer a full vegetarian and vegan menu to encourage plant based menu

Packaging;

  • We use eco friendly compostable packaging

  • Our delivery boxes are all reusable

  • Any unavoidable plastic is recycled

  • We support plastic free events by supplying water for refill purposes

Delivery;

  • We double up on deliveries where possible to avoid extra miles

  • Our couriers choose low environmental impact cars where possible

We kindly ask that all "on location" shoots using our craft facilities, flag on all call sheets that crew bring their own water bottles and keep cups for coffee to help minimise the use of paper cups and water cans. We always do our best to provide as many resources as possible on set, but feel it is important to encourage all crews to do their part in making craft stations as eco friendly and sustainable as possible.
