our green pledge
Sustainable catering in London
At Grace & Skye, we believe indulgence can be sustainable. We’re on a mission to reduce our carbon footprint and create extraordinary food that’s kind to the planet.
By sourcing locally, supporting small producers, and designing low-waste seasonal menus, we’re proving that conscious catering can still be beautiful, generous, and full of flavour.
Sustainability isn’t a trend for us. It’s the way we cook, shop, and think.
When we started Grace & Skye, we swore we’d cook with the seasons, support local producers, and tread lightly on the planet. That means we design every menu around what’s fresh, abundant and responsibly sourced, never what’s easiest to import. We plan carefully to minimise waste, reuse creatively, and serve food that’s as kind to the environment as it is delicious.

Make us part of your sustainability pledge -
Choosing sustainable catering isn’t just good for the planet - it’s good for people too. By sourcing ingredients from local farms and independent producers, we’re helping to strengthen the local economy and support small businesses doing things the right way. Every menu we design creates reliable demand for seasonal, locally grown food, helping small-scale farmers and artisans to thrive and keeping skills, jobs, and flavour within our community.
-
Minimising food waste is at the heart of our approach to sustainable catering. As an eco-friendly caterer, we believe every ingredient deserves to be used to its fullest - from the first spark of menu design to the final plate served on site. Our chefs find creative ways to reimagine and repurpose surplus produce, turning potential waste into something beautiful. You’ll always see a ferment or a pickle on our dishes. Anything that can’t be used is composted or donated, helping us reduce food waste and support a more circular, sustainable food system.
Our Green Partners
-

Social Impact Coffee
65% of their profits go back into the local community. They choose beans from regenerative farms, and roast their coffee using induction heaters with net zero emissions. They’re working toward net negative!
-

Chapman's
After finishing their delivery runs, Chapman's head straight to the Kent and Sussex coastline. They collect fish straight from the nets to be used for next day's delivery. Dramatically reducing food miles and our carbon footprint!
-

Flawsome!
Flawsome make their drinks and juices by saving wonky and surplus fruit so growers could sell more of what they’d worked so hard to grow. So far they’ve saved 77 million fruits.
-
Vegware
Vegware is the trusted brand of plant-based compostable food packaging. Their products are designed to be industrially composted alongside food waste.
-

H & M Meats
H & M Meats was formed by two partners with a strong passion for butchery back in 1994. They ensure all our meat is fully traceable right back to the very farm it came from.
We know there’s always more to do. Our future targets focus on further reducing our carbon emissions through greener transport, zero-waste menu planning, and energy-efficient kitchens.
At Grace & Skye, we don’t want to be another part of the problem, we want to be part of the solution.
Your Questions
Do you drive an electric van?
Yes! Our electric van is used to deliver outstanding food that wow’s every time. If you spot us zipping around London make sure you send a picture to hello@graceandskye.com, we love your pictures!
Do you have any schemes that give back to your community?
We prioritising hiring the best chefs, supporting artists in our kitchen and our front of house team and paying them a fair wage. We also have a sponsorship programme we are looking to expand where we train people in need up within the kitchen. Get in touch about becoming one of our sponsors.
Can you provide eco-friendly packaging or reusable serviceware?
Yes! We use Vegware compostable packaging across our catering, ensuring that any packaging that is necessary can be responsibly composted. Wherever possible, we also offer our crockery service, delivering food in reusable plates, bowls, and serving dishes to minimise single-use packaging. This approach allows us to reduce waste while still delivering a seamless, beautiful catering experience for your event.
Can I make you part of my CSR and ESG Targets?
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) goals and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria are important goals for large businesses to meet. When you work with Grace & Skye we’re doing some of that legwork for you with our promise to combat the environmental impact of the catering industry.
